    I love cheese, rasberry truffle chocolate ice cream, pepsi, working out, watching TV and listening to music. During the year, I'm a student at a university where I'm a politics major. I used to be a prem-ed and a chemistry major but I got bored of that and stopped doing it. I also love taking sociology classes. During the year I work as a resident assistant and a admission's office assistant. I'm pretty busy most of the time and so that's usually why I lag behind on my sites during the year.

    I have a brother who's two years younger than me. I live with him, my mom and my dad when I'm not at college. I love going to college and living in the dorms and all that. I think if you have the chance to live in a dorm, you should do it. I don't know what the conditions are in all the colleges but the private school that I go to is somewhat conservative (although we like to call ourselves 'liberals') so it's pretty safe. It's just been a wonderful experience; I've learned so much from it. Currently I'm going to be a junior in Fall '09. I'm super scared because that's one year closer to graduating but I'm also very excited to start the next chapter of life..

    If I had to choose one book or movie that would define my life it would be Harry Potter. I don't think it defines my life literally. Harry Potter has just been such a big part of my life. I remember that it was the first sciense fiction novel that I started reading when I first came to the U.S. and I was in the ESL program. First when I started learning to read English I read all of the Little House on the Prairie books but then I discovered HP. I remember that I went to my ESL teacher the second day and I told her that I had read BOTH Sorcerer's Stone AND Chamber of Secrets in one day. My teacher didn't believe me. That was that. HP has just been so amazing and I can't wait for Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hollows. It's going to be very depressing when I see the last HP movie because it's also going to be the summer that I graduate from college....wow, not only do I feel old but also sad :(

    This summer I'm hoping to work with a civil rights activists group. They do a lot of canvessing, fundraising, campgaining for elections and things like that. I think it's going to be a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Right now I don't really know what I want to do with my life. I'm considering Peace Corps and Teach for America for after college. I'm also thinking of going to graduate school to get my PH.D in politics and teach with it. That would be pretty exciting I think. But, for starters, I have to find a thesis for my senior project and start studying for my GRE exam. eeek.
