when i grow up
I'm thinking of bringing back that flash radio thing I used to have on the site just because I've found some hot new music. Here's what I've been listening to again and again in my iPod. I'm the type of person that listens to a song again and again and again and again until I get tired of it. I have songs that I've listend to about 250 times and that's probably for a month or so. The funny (and sad) thing is that even though I've listened to that song 250 times, I still can't remember the lyrics at all. I can never remember lyrics. Words just blend in with everything else with me.
I especially addicted to PCD's new song "when I grow up." It's awesome. I'm glad Nicole's solo career didn't work out, PCD is too good to disappear. It's also too slutty but oh well. Sex sells these days.
I'm trying to make a blend/collage but unfortunately I am not inspired. Maybe my hunger has something to do with it, I haven't eaten breakfast. I also have to pack for Monday. Ehh. The kids that I'll be working with are Middle School through High School. eh It'll be fun but it's also be tragic. Middle School kids are the most annoying thing. I taught the STARS program to MS students when I was in HS and they just would never shut up. They always talk and you always have to tell them to be quiet. However, since they're as hormonal as the HS students they won't be as tragic, hopefully.
I have to come up with a group game for them to play during orientation. The one I'm thinking about is where each person starts singing a song that they listened to when they were or are 15 (ok that's just sad and a tad bit awkward) and have everyone else sing it. I had to do that for with my RA during Freshman Orientation day and I think I picked Britney Spear's Ooops I did it Again. I was so obsessed with BS, 'Nsync and all those groups. I used to buy CDs. Lol. I haven't bought a CD in like 6 years now. What's the point when you can just buy the music online?
I think I'll go eat something. I'm starting to get a headache.

dis- pleased, in every way
Ok so I just checked how my layout works in Internet Explorer and it looks perfect. Yay...whatever. I never use IE, only FireFox but I just wanted to make sure that the site works for those of you still using IE.
This is not going to be a happy post. I'm no longer bored but rather irritated, frusterated, annoyed, impatient and just ready to go (anywhere but here, here would be living with my parents). I don't think anyone can like college more than I do. I mean, ok I have to study a lot and I have work and all that crap but at least I'm not living with two senile parents. This is not what was I going to talk about it.
Let's move on.
So I ordered an item from ebay and I made the mistake of not changing my University address to my Home address when I payed using paypal. I contacted the seller TWO TIMES, through ebay and through email. I then called Ebay to ask them whether or not they can change the shipping address on my statement so that the person can deliver the item to my home address for which they said a plain 'no' to. However, they did recommend contacting the seller and telling them the new address, which I already had done. I asked them 'how likely is it that the seller will listen to my 2 emails and ship it to my home address?'
Paypal's response? Always.
The seller didn't reply to any of my emails until I sent him a third email for which only then did he reply to my second email that I sent to him . How ridiculous is that? The second email wasn't even an email really, it was a Ebay Question contact form so he must have replied because he had no choice. Ebay probably makes answering questions mandatory when selling items.
Well guess what? IT'S NOT ALWAYS When he finally replied, he said that he only ships to the address on the paypal statement. How ridiculous is that. And that particular seller has a 95.7% rating. That will go down once I get my package. There's no way in hell I'm leaving him a positive review. All he's going to get from me is negative comment after negative comment. I haven't even seen the item yet. My parents have to pick up at my college on Monday because the prick was too lazy to change the address label. Either that or he didn't bother reading any of his emails until after he shipped the item. How lazy.
In this age, email is like the telephone. The first thing I do when I wake up is turn on my computer and read all of my emails and I've got like 5 or 6 email accounts. It's just plain rude not to reply to someone who has taken the time to write to you. There's such a thing as email etiquette so follow it.
I've never left a negative feedback for someone on ebay but I sure as hell will love doing that later. I spent about $120 on the item, the least he could have done is be generous, understanding and flexible.
Even though it is totally my fault for not being more careful and proof reading my order, I still think he should have changed the shipment address. What happened to customer satisfaction? It's totally going into the dump.
